The DJ Mihail Yosifov rediscovers the music of one of the great Bulgarian pop composers - Petar Stupel, by creating new arrangements of melodies that are beloved by several generations of Bulgarians. The virtuoso trumpeter, composer, arranger and his formation "News in Jazz" embark on another musical adventure and discover for the young generation some of the golden hits of Bulgarian pop and film music from the recent past. The multimedia concert "Tempo, tempo!" is organized by "Cantus Firmus" on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Peter Stupel. The choice of the title comes from a song from the movie-musical My Painter Father. The program also includes new versions of the unforgettable melodies "Snow of Memory", "Love is a Sea", "Late Dates", as well as music from the cult film "Every Kilometer" and the TV series "Good Night, Children". Footage from the relevant films will remind us of a bygone era with its beautiful and funny moments. The event is realized with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture. SOFIA LIVE CLUB will open its doors at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for entry on the spot are worth BGN 35.
